We were made for relationships of love, so difficulties in relationships, past and present, cause most of life's pain.
Many psychological symptoms have their roots in the ways we hide, and avoid dealing with, the realities of our wounds, fears, guilt and shame.
To keep running away from those difficulties with people, with our own selves, and with God, only compounds our problems. We get stuck in destructive cycles.
I invite you to stop avoiding and do more living and loving.

Peter’s approach is to view people as people, not as problems. He addresses the whole person, including social & family environment, relationships, and spiritual issues. His world view is from a Christian perspective. This means he views Jesus as his primary role model for loving. Love includes honesty, mercy, and forgiving. To be willing to receive help from God and other people is a sign of humility, and opens the door to hope.
